Carnival Years Button Collection

Ronald Young has put together the Carnival Years Button Collection, a collection of all the modern Winter Carnival buttons except for the 1916 button. It also contains the Winter Carnival button from 1886 and a brief history of the years in which a Winter Carnival was held.

The St. Paul Public Library has the St. Paul Pioneer Press and Dispatch on microfilm and many books and articles on the St. Paul Winter Carnival.

The Minnesota Historical Society has many reference materials and the St. Paul Pioneer Press and Dispatch on microfilm dating back to 1849, available at the Minnesota History Center. It is a great resource for the history of Minnesota and the St. Paul Winter Carnival.
